Amy Miller dropped out of school as a child to work, supporting her two older brothers through their education abroad and buying a house for her parents. When she was admitted to NYU's business school and needed $100,000 in tuition, her parents sold the house she bought to buy her eldest brother a luxury car and refused to support her. Her boyfriend Ryan also abandoned her because she had no money. Amy struggled alone in New York, and after saving the granddaughter of Wall Street mogul Kevin, she earned the opportunity to join his investment group and attend business school. However, her greedy family stole the tuition she had painstakingly saved to buy her eldest brother an expensive watch, and even pushed her grandfather Arthur to the ground to get their hands on his secret fund, leaving him comatose and then attempting to forgo treatment and forge a will. Amy promptly called the police, cut off all ties with her relatives, and brought in medical experts to save her grandfather, sending her eldest brother Michael to prison. Three years later, Amy transformed into the founder of a hundred‑billion‑dollar investment group. Her ex‑boyfriend Ryan became a rich woman's plaything and had his legs broken for trying to extort Amy; her terminally ill parents tried to turn to her second brother Julian, who had become a wealthy man's kept companion, but Julian swindled away the one million dollars in charity money Amy had given them for treatment, and her parents ended up dying on the streets, while Julian himself was left crippled. Amy ultimately stood at the pinnacle of Wall Street.
