Yu Miaomiao loved Mo Chen for over twenty years. Her dream of marrying him quickly turned into a nightmare when his sister, Mo Yu, became comatose after a car accident the day after their wedding. Framed by her own sister, Yu Xiaoxiao, Miaomiao was sent to prison by Mo Chen for five years. Upon her release, a broken Miaomiao sought divorce, but Mo Chen refused. Instead, he subjected her to relentless torment: forcing her to kneel by his sister's bedside, humiliating her under Xiaoxiao's instigation, causing her to suffer a miscarriage, and finally, after she gave birth to their son, forcibly removing her kidney for Xiaoxiao's transplant. After Mo Yu miraculously woke up, Miaomiao staged her death on the operating table and disappeared, only for Mo Chen to find her once more, reopening old wounds.
