In a small American Western town in the 1960s, Evelyn Hart, a kind and resilient waitress, became pregnant after a one‑night stand with Colton Sterling, heir to a local ranch. Her stepsister fraudulently claimed credit for saving Colton’s life and framed Evelyn, sending her to prison. While incarcerated, Evelyn gave birth to their son, Ethan, alone. Six years later, a paternity test finally uncovered the truth.
