"Elena was forced to kneel in the bloody water mixed with engine oil. A month earlier, this man had proposed to her in Times Square. She stared at Arthur, her teeth biting through her lower lip, her nails scraping through the rubble. "Arthur, even if I were a ghost, I'd skin you alive." She signed. During her three years in the federal prison, Elena survived at the hands of the prison overseer. Relying on her exceptional profiling and deductive talent, she cracks the blood-written code left by her roommate's serial killer, uncovering thirty years of family secrets hidden in New York's underground world. It turns out the inheritance Arthur stole back then was just bait; she is the sole leader of the overseas billion-dollar black gold trust. When the three-year term ended, the iron gate was smashed open. Twelve black bulletproof Maybach cars blocked the prison gate. New York's most ruthless mob boss opened a black umbrella for her with one hand, handing her a lit cigar and a loaded Glock. "Boss, where are you going?" That night, at the penthouse hotel in Manhattan. Arthur is holding champagne, announcing his takeover of the consortium to the city's elite. The main door was smashed with a slam. Irina walked in wearing a red dress, high heels on the glass shards covering the floor, dragging a black body bag dripping with blood. The whole crowd screamed. She grabbed Arthur's hair and slammed him hard onto the marble floor soaked in alcohol. Glock's cold gun barrel drove straight into Arthur's wide-open mouth, pressing against his jaw. Elena exhaled a smoke ring, her laughter making people feel uneasy: "Arthur, did you hear the police sirens downstairs?" Inside the bag was the assassin who dumped your body years ago. Now, it's your turn to take the blame for me. ”
