Old Lin, who was once framed by Zhou, set aside his grievance and risked his life to save her. Overwhelmed with guilt, Zhou reformed completely: he quit drinking, worked diligently, sold his belongings to pay for his daughter’s rehabilitation, and publicly cleared Old Lin’s name.
