During seven years of marriage, Chloe loved and tolerated Ronan wholeheartedly, suffering emotional abuse and his cheating. On their anniversary, Ronan ridiculed her homemade cake and openly flirted with his assistant Iris, destroying all her hopes. Chloe chose divorce and restarted her career with friends Mia and Felix. Ronan underestimated her determination. After losing her, he dismissed his mistress, fell sick in the rain, and suffered disabling injuries in a crash. His desperate pleas failed to win Chloe back. Chloe won the divorce case, earned a promotion and travelled to Iceland as she once dreamed. Crippled and career-wrecked, Ronan could only watch her walk toward her new life from a distance, separated forever.
