Nyra, branded an "atheistic witch" by the city‑state nobles, catches her fiancé cheating with her adopted sister on the eve of her wedding. She is then falsely accused of blasphemy and offered as a sacrifice to the Titan Abyss. On the brink of death, she is rescued by Theron, an executioner of the Underworld. Upon her blood touching the Trident Moonstone, the divine blood of Hecate awakens within her. Transformed from a sacrificial victim into a judge, she reclaims her name, shadow and divine fire. In the end, she returns to the Tribunal of Athena and forces all the nobles who once sacrificed young maidens to the gods to kneel and confess their crimes.
