"Gu Yan owed Lin Wei a debt of gratitude for a single meal. To repay it, he hid his identity as heir to a global financial empire and spent ten years building her company into an industry giant. He gave her everything—his loyalty, his labor, his love. She repaid him with betrayal. Lin Wei and her lover, Shen Zhe, stole his work, humiliated him, and left him with nothing. Broken but not defeated, Gu Yan staged his own death in a car crash—and vanished. He returned as Yu Sheng, the president of Huan Yu Group, a force more powerful than Lin Wei could ever imagine. When she finally realized the truth—that the man she had discarded was the very one who had made her—it was too late. Her company crumbled. Her world collapsed. And her desperate pleas for forgiveness were met with cold silence. Yu Sheng had already moved on. He had found peace with the woman who had always been by his side, and a future no longer shadowed by the past. Shen Zhe went to prison for fraud and embezzlement. Lin Wei was left with nothing but regret. A story of a man who repaid his debt with ten years of devotion—and walked away from the ashes to build an empire of his own. "
