Luna, heiress to the Hale Group, secretly regained her sight—planning to surprise her mother. That night, she watched her aunt Ariana kill her mother and steal her identity. To survive, Luna pretended to be blind. She called her mother's murderer "Mom." She endured knives, allergens, and endless tests. She ate food she was allergic to—just to get to a hospital. Just to escape. In the hospital, she found allies: her mother's protégé Silas, and a doctor named Julian. She escaped. Haley, Ariana's daughter, chased her down with a car. Luna turned her enemy into an ally—promising more than her mother ever could. She returned to the estate, playing mad, gathering proof. Silas came back. Together, they tore Ariana's mask off—and locked it behind bars. Luna took back her family's name. But the woman who raised her after her mother died? She was the one who killed her.
