In order to fight for the property, Shi Qin's younger brother and stepmother brutally hunted him and his wife, Yan Xiangyu, down. To protect Yan Xiangyu, Shi Qin held the two back by himself, allowing Xiangyu to escape. Before dying, Shi Qin told Xiangyu his recipe and instructed her to cook this dish for his father on the Lantern Festival night. He said that his father would surely believe Xiangyu's words. Yan Xiangyu practiced cooking skills hard. Five years later, she finally came to the Shi family and exposed the true faces of Shi Qin's stepmother and younger brother with a single dish.
