In a cyberpunk dystopia with rigid class stratification, bottom-tier youth Ethan accidentally triggers the 'Chosen Key' left behind by his parents, freezing the global Skynet system in an instant. Rescued by resistance member Iris, he learns the horrifying truth: he is a living safe, the key physically implanted within his body. Hunted by the omnipotent overlord Celes and torn between radical factions within the resistance, Ethan discovers the key's true purpose is 'system reboot' — not destruction, not domination. He defeats Celes, and though Iris sacrifices herself, she is reborn as living code, ushering in a new dawn of freedom and equality for both worlds.
