Mila, the heir to Kennedy Enterprises, was publicly humiliated by her fiancé Marcus at their wedding. He forced her to take off her wedding dress and give it to his adopted sister Dolores. Her biological parents favored Dolores, ignored her grievances, and even slapped Mila over an old incident where Dolores had deliberately run her over with a car three years earlier, completely breaking her heart. In her despair, Steven Harrington, who had rescued her in childhood, appeared. As a top tycoon and her nominal brother, he had always been her protector. Steven stood strongly by Mila, helping her fight against her cruel family and the cheating fiancé, exposing Dolores’s schemes and her family’s cold-bloodedness.
