"The Seven Stolen Years" For seven years, Maya was missing. Then Sarah found her—deep in a private Ohio forest, held captive and broken. Her husband Julian stood in the way. He had handed their daughter to psychologist Claire as the sole subject of an illegal experiment—to repay a "life debt" to Claire's brother. Sarah watched footage of Maya being forced to crawl and beg, her mind systematically destroyed. Then Sarah was drugged, locked away, and declared insane. They nearly blinded her. A sympathetic doctor slipped her a phone. She reached disgraced FBI agent Miller. He raided the forest—and brought Maya home. In court, the truth shattered everything: Claire's brother was already dying. The "life debt" was a lie—a scheme for insurance money and control. Claire got life. Julian got twenty years. But Sarah didn't stop. She earned a Ph.D. in psychology, built a rehabilitation center, and dedicated her life to pulling children like Maya back from the dark. ——She stole seven years from my daughter. I'll spend the rest of my life pulling children out of the darkness she left behind.
