On their sixth wedding anniversary, a polar blizzard caused a blackout. After waiting in vain for twelve hours, she didn't get her husband's company; instead, she saw a glaring photo in the family group chat showing him tenderly caring for his "white moonlight"—who was wearing the limited-edition scarf that rightfully belonged to her. Heart shattered, she instantly quit the family group, left behind a divorce agreement, boarded a flight that very night, and blocked the entire scumbag family. When the imperious CEO Lu Shiyan finally came to his senses and traveled 30,000 miles to the Antarctic ice fields, he was no longer met by the wife who used to keep a candle burning while waiting for his return. Instead, he encountered a cool, independent, and unattainable top UN scientist who viewed him with the same disdain one might reserve for a common housefly. Amidst the Antarctic blizzard, he watched helplessly as the chicken soup—which he had painstakingly simmered for four hours—was tossed into a sorting bin right before his eyes, her expression utterly impassive. The man who once commanded everything collapsed onto the snow, sobbing uncontrollably, driven to the brink of a mental breakdown by the sheer agony of his regret. The story is packed with dramatic twists and a blend of cathartic highs and poignant lows: she transforms from a long-suffering, submissive wife into a powerhouse figure at the pinnacle of global meteorology. No matter how much the scumbag wallows in self-indulgent remorse, he cannot buy back even a second of her attention—leaving her to fully embrace her unencumbered spirit and boundless glory.
