Reluctantly agreeing to her stepmother Tina's scheme, she becomes engaged to Adam, the youngest son of the werewolf Smith family and the future Alpha. On the eve of her engagement, in a twist of fate, Nancy mistakenly drags Adam's brother Evan into her hotel room, leading to an unexpected encounter. That night, Nancy also witnesses her fiancé's betrayal with Tina. The next day, Adam and Tina storm Nancy's hotel room, accusing her of infidelity.
