To save his seriously ill sister, college student Noir Chaucer buys a haunted house for a hundred bucks, unexpectedly activating the "Negative Emotion System". The more terrifying the ghosts become, the stronger he gets! This ignites a series of unconventional tactics, as he outsmarts and tames all sorts of supernatural entities: the gentle maid Rose, the resentful child Bobby, the fox spirit maid Ivana Hammer. While others rely on spells to banish ghosts, he drives them mad with his words!
