Seven years ago, Lin Yan, the heir to the Lin family, was left with disabled legs in an accident. He fell in love with Su Wan, a college student, and the two were about to have a child. Just as Lin Yan was preparing to propose, his mother stood in their way. Zhao Manqi, who had a secret crush on Lin Yan, took advantage of this situation to scheme against them—she lied to Su Wan, claiming Lin Yan had gone abroad and abandoned her.
