Freya, who is seriously ill, struggles to survive with her daughter Liya, who was born blind. In order to raise medical expenses for her mother, Liya held up a "Please save my mother" card and begged for help in front of the Veron Group. She unexpectedly met the ruthless and powerful President of the Veron Group, Roxian Veron. Liya recognized the love watch her mother had given her, and rushed forward to call Luo Xian "Dad", but Luo Xien believed that she had not had a woman for many years and was treated as a child. In fact, eight years ago, Freya and Luo Xian were school sweethearts, but they were threatened by Lenore Wynn, who had a crush on Luo Xian, with forged evidence of engineering fraud, forcing Freya to break up voluntarily and making Luo Xian hate her for the rest of his life. Freya gave birth to Liya alone. She was in pain and poor, but she always tried her best to protect her daughter. Luo Xian's sister Siara noticed that Liya looked very similar to her brother, and thought of the hereditary eye disease in the Veron family. She secretly conducted a paternity test and confirmed that Liya was Luo Xian's biological daughter. The Veron family was overjoyed and searched for Liya throughout the city, preparing to bring back the lost little princess. At the same time, Liya sold her pocket watch to save her mother, but was deceived by the greedy consignment shop owner Sam at a low price, and the pocket watch fell into the hands of Lenore. After Lenore learned that Liya was Freya's child, in order to cover up the truth and prevent the mother and daughter from recognizing Lothien, she and Sam tortured Liya, and even pushed her into the water to force a confession. At the stuck point in the tenth episode, Luoxian and his family rushed to the downstairs of the hospital. They saw Liya dying with their own eyes and were furious to save her daughter. Liya woke up after a month in coma, her eyes regained sight, but she lost her memory due to brain damage and no longer remembered Freya. Roxian is still trapped in the misunderstanding of the breakup, telling Leah that she "has no mother", while Freya mistakenly believed that her daughter would have a better life in the Veron family, so she decided to give up treatment and just wanted to see her daughter for the last time from a distance. The Veron family held a charity dinner for Liya. Freya sneaked into the hotel as a temporary waiter. Mother and daughter reunited but did not recognize each other. Liya comforted her biological mother as an "aunt who lost her child." Freya was heartbroken. Luoxian noticed Freya's figure several times at the banquet, and old love and hatred were intertwined. Finally, he sent an assistant to investigate the truth of the year, and learned that Freya was forced to break up by Lenore's forged evidence, and that she was seriously ill and did not have much time left. In order to eliminate the root cause, Lenore hired Jack to send an assassin to assassinate Freya, and planned to send Freya to an east coast boarding school to completely cut off the relationship between mother and daughter. At the stuck point in episode 31, Lothian rushed to the rental house in the slums and rescued Freya from the killer's knife. Later, Lenore took advantage of Liya's amnesia and induced her to play "playing house" and publicly slandered Freya as a bad mother. She tried to break up the family of three again, but was exposed because Liya accidentally revealed the truth of the game. Luoxian publicly exposed Lenore's crimes such as forging evidence, hiring murderers to hurt people, and instigating the relationship between mother and daughter, and handed her over to the police. In the end, the Verorn family officially accepted Freya, and Lothian apologized to her to compensate. The two regained their old love, held a wedding at Verorn Manor, and Leah served as the flower girl, and the family of three was happily reunited.
