In the early 2000s, heiress Lucy Harper travels to a remote mountain village to attend her best friend Faye Reed's wedding. What should be a joyous celebration turns into a nightmare when Faye is subjected to vile wedding hazing by the village bully Tyson Wood and his gang of groomsmen—while her spineless groom stands by and does nothing. Lucy reveals her true power and takes swift action: she punishes Tyson and his corrupt backers, severs all business ties with the Wood family's food plant, and helps Faye escape this nightmare marriage. She also establishes a special fund to reward villagers who stand against these abusive traditions, transforming the village's customs forever.
