At the party, Chloe calls off the engagement and exposes all scandals. When mocked for Julian's humble job, he reveals his elite status with a black card. Mason ends up disgraced. Chloe's grandfather objects to their marriage due to an old wartime alliance. Later, he reunites with Julian's grandfather, his long-lost comrade.
