Kaia Geber honors her dying friend's final wish by adopting Ash, a black cat that is secretly an ancient demon. As the lonely woman and the cat grow dependent on each other, they become targets of a cruel cat abuser ring that tortures cats for profit. In a twisted livestream, the gang brutally tortures Ash in front of Kaia and recklessly removes the collar sealing his powers.
