Camden Clark built himself from nothing into a powerful billionaire, but deep down, he’s never forgotten Audrey Powell — his childhood sweetheart who vanished over twenty years ago. When she’s finally found, it’s heartbreaking: she’s alive, but lost in her mind, unable to speak or remember. Filled with guilt, Camden makes a promise — he’ll give up his company, leave everything behind, and take her back to their hometown to care for her for the rest of his life. But Miss. Wood, the wealthy heiress who’s always loved him, tries to stop him, believing only she can help him grow even greater. Camden won’t listen — Audrey is his first love, his dream, his unfinished story. In a moment of rage and heartbreak, Miss. Wood strikes him down. As Camden lies unconscious in the hospital, his mind slips back to the late 1990s — back to the day Audrey was hurt. This time, he remembers everything. With his loyal friend Ryan by his side, he fights back against the bullies, saves Audrey before tragedy strikes, and gets a second chance to protect the girl who’s haunted his heart his whole life.
