Once the galaxy’s top mecha pilot, Ambrose was left disabled and grim-tempered after an accident, driving away eighty-seven maintenance crews. To pay her tuition, Ophelia, a young Verdant, sneaks into his private space station disguised as a middle-aged woman. She breaks through his cold defenses in her unique way—yanking out power batteries, making burgers, and fending off his pursuers. When her disguise falls apart and his enemy Aburu attacks with the Dark Night God mecha, Ambrose forces himself to stand and summons the legendary Judgement Mecha to protect her. From tentative tests to life-and-death trust, the pair separated by vast status and race forge a healing love across the stars.
