Shen Ciqiu, a former top lawyer, was framed by Lu Wenjie and sent to prison. After her release, she met Lu Jingshen, the head of Shengshi Capital, and the two entered into a contract marriage to seek revenge together. They gathered evidence layer by layer, exposing all of Lu Wenjie’s crimes—including money laundering, fabricating financial scams, and deliberately staging a car accident to frame Shen Ciqiu—and persuaded Qiao Man, who had been feigning disability, to come forward as a witness. Lu Wenjie’s attempt to poison the couple was exposed, and, with no way out, he took his own life by ingesting poison. After the first wife’s faction was destroyed, Shen Ciqiu filed for divorce, but Lu Jingshen, moved by his deep feelings, proposed to her. Together, they went on to build a joint financial conglomerate.
