"Princess Olivia was desperate. Her uncle betrayed her for a political marriage, while her stepmother and cousin plotted to destroy her. Her sole ally was Mason, a guard she'd saved from the streets. To break the engagement, she seduced Mason and created a scandal. It worked, but Mason was beaten bloody and banished. Three years on, Olivia remained bound to James, fighting for her inheritance. At an auction, her fiancé bid on the fabled Heart of the Ocean, but a masked nobleman offered an astonishing million gold coins. Olivia pursued, tore off his mask, and met the eyes of Mason, the guard she had ruthlessly discarded and ruined."
