"Alina Ramsey spent her life as a shadow. To her family, she was nothing more than a living organ bank for her younger sister, Lucia Ramsey. They forced her to shave her head, drain her blood, and eventually, sacrifice herself on the operating table—all to save Lucia. Even Zane Dalton, the man Alina loved for years, turned his back on her, falling for Lucia's sweet lies. But when Zane finally realizes that he has been loving the wrong woman, the truth comes too late. Alina is gone, leaving behind only the wreckage of his regret. In a world without her, his penance has only just begun."
