Midnight. I catch my roommate Bob peeling an apple in front of a mirror—summoning his dead girlfriend Emily. Then campus murders start. All signs point to Bob, possessed. But I discovered the real killer was hiding right beside us. I exposed Eric’s scheme of swapping medications and framing others for murder, and sent him to prison. But the red figure on the midnight surveillance footage made me completely break down. I smiled, thinking I had uncovered all the truth— only to realize I had already fallen into an inescapable abyss during that summoning ritual.
