Josephine Quinn married twice to help childhood friends, then married Grayson for love. But when she overhears him conspiring with her two ex-husbands to trick her into an April Fools' divorce—freeing all three men for another woman—she quietly signs the papers and walks away. That same day, she marries billionaire Frederick Ashworth. Months later, Grayson returns expecting forgiveness, only to find Josephine pregnant, remarried, and utterly indifferent. The three men who bet on her weakness lose their businesses, their reputations, and the one woman who once loved them. The fools, it turns out, were never her.
