I gave him five years of my soul and my music, only to find my husband and my best friend sleeping together behind my back. They used me as a cover, stole my masterpiece, and pushed me to the edge. Heartbroken and done, so I faked my death, leaving behind a bloody trail of truth to drag them both to hell. Incognito as Lyra, I reclaimed the piano in a seaside town and met gentle David and the innocent kids. But when the trash tracks me down, I’m no longer weak—my evidence will make them pay in blood. I used to submit to love; now I break my chains, rise through the waves and music, and become my own light.
