Evelyn gains a lie-detecting money-making system and enters a contract marriage arranged by her adoptive mom for two million dollars. Her husband Killian, heir of the Voss family, is an undercover cop infiltrating a criminal syndicate to hunt the gang leader Julian and find his late mentor’s long-lost daughter. The two meet and fall for each other amid countless lies. Evelyn’s system rewards her every time others lie, while Killian hides his real identity to complete his mission. They jointly expose the crime ring, discover they are each other’s long-separated childhood pals, and finally realize their contractual marriage ties them together, sealing their true love.
