The top-tier Alpha, Seron, unexpectedly fell in love with the half-human Bronnie. To protect his beloved and help her survive the ordeal of the mandatory Marking, Seron was tragically tricked by a rival, who swapped the antidote, causing Bronnie to “die from the poison” on the night of the Marking. Seven years later, Bronnie—who had survived but was now blind and suffering from organ failure—struggled to survive while raising her full-blooded daughter. Selon tracked down his wife and daughter and, consumed by remorse, wiped out his enemies. To save his wife’s life, he disguised himself as a caregiver and quietly stayed by her side, ultimately performing the forbidden ritual “Life for Life” at the Blood Moon Altar. Half a year later, Selon, having narrowly escaped death, returned to his wife and daughter with his broken body, finally finding happiness.
