Twenty years ago, Grace McNiven, Lady of Dawncrest Sanctum, risked her own life to save seven critically ill children. She adopted them and raised them as her own. Two decades later, thanks to her quiet devotion and guidance, the seven boys have risen to prominence. Yet when their biological parents reappear and sow discord, the ungrateful sons turn against her. They send her a coffin and curse her to die on her 50th birthday.
