Seeking revenge against her sister Mia—who had caused their mother to fall into a vegetative state—and Mia’s boyfriend Chris, Natasha used calculated maneuvers to enter a whirlwind marriage with Brad, a New York crime boss. Once established as the matriarch of the Howard family, she dominated Mia, exploiting her sister’s vanity and lack of self-control to drive a wedge between the couple and cause them to lose their inheritance rights. Throughout this process of vengeance, the relationship between Natasha and Brad evolved from one of mutual exploitation into deep love; although the truth behind her revenge scheme nearly tore them apart, they ultimately reconciled thanks to her sincere remorse. With her mother’s recovery and the arrival of their child, Natasha finally let go of her hatred and embraced a happy life.
