Riley Hennison, the heiress of a wealthy family, fell prey to the schemes of her friend Maggie Johnston, who ultimately stole Riley's boyfriend. After a night of passion with Gavin Brooks, compromising photos surfaced, tarnishing Riley's reputation, leading to her ostracism by her family. Ten months later, Riley gave birth to a child. For the child's welfare, Riley and Gavin agreed to marry. Unaware of Gavin's true identity, she mistook him for a man of modest means. Riley willingly contributed financially to their household, oblivious to the fact that Gavin was the CEO of the Brooks Group. Not only did Gavin repeatedly resolve Riley's crises, but he also showered her with affection.
