On a snowy Boston night, Laila braved the storm to buy wine for her boyfriend, Kyle. Then she woke up with a strange new power: she could read minds. And the first thing she heard was his: She’s just a bet. Win a yacht, and she’s gone. Heartbroken but no longer blind, Laila turned to Damon, a powerful tycoon. Using her ability to read Kyle’s every weakness, she played him perfectly, turning him from a heartless gambler into a groveling fool. From campus to a charity gala, she exposed his family’s embezzlement, sent them to prison, and destroyed everyone who had ever used her. Laila was no longer a lovesick girl. She was a queen of revenge—and found true love in Damon along the way. A story of a woman who learned the truth in a single thought—and made him pay for every lie.
