"Nianxing Xu, an insecure and timid girl, has secretly carried a torch for Zhou Shiyu, the school's golden boy, since high school. He was the only light in her dark adolescence, while she remained an unnoticed passerby in his life. For twelve years, she shadowed his footsteps like a phantom—from campus to career, from strangers to lovers, and back to strangers. When Shiyu's wedding invitation lands in her hands, Nianxing resolves to finally close this chapter of unrequited youth. Yet fate chooses this moment to unveil another truth: she was never truly forgotten. Those lost years conceal feelings Shiyu never voiced. ""Shiyu Zhou, do you know what it’s like to love someone in secret for twelve years?"" From school to society, from self-doubt to courage, Nianxing devoted her entire youth to loving one person, only to learn that some emotions blaze like meteors across the cosmos—brilliant but fleeting—while certain people remain forever etched as regrets in memory."
