Brilliant Audrey Sinclair, Duchess of Rosehaven and supreme champion of both pen and sword of Aethelgard, was too exceptional. A paranoid Emperor of Aethelgard banished her to fight the Northern Hordes against impossible odds. Returning victorious after a grueling year, she discovered corrupt officials had framed her, exterminated her entire family, and sentenced her to death. Filled with resentment and humiliation, her reincarnation places her into the body of Audrey Sinclair, a modern wealthy heiress. Waking up, Audrey realizes her husband is Tristan Montgomery, the man she failed in her past life. Her former parents are now her in-laws, and her sworn enemy, the Emperor of Aethelgard, has been reincarnated as Derrick Blackwood, the Montgomery family rival. To make amends in this peaceful modern era, Audrey vows to protect the Montgomery family. Using her unmatched skills, she adapts to modern society while winning back Tristan Montgomery with true love. Through pure brilliance, she guides the struggling Montgomery family back to the top, finally fulfilling her wish to safeguard her loved ones and living happily ever after.
