Ten years ago, Eliot Howard, the Howard family’s eldest son, rescued a gifted orphan, Jacob, only to invite ruin into his life. Jacob stole his family’s love, cut off his arm, and framed him for murder, leaving him caged for a decade. Betrayed even by his fiancée, Eliot turned to the Solar Sect. Three years later, he returns as its new leader… just as the Howard family teeters on the edge of destruction.
