Fu Ye launched the time‑reversal project, hoping to see his deceased first love. He mistakenly believes that Su Jinyue used every means to marry him, resenting her for taking the position of his first love’s wife and treating her as a substitute to exact his revenge. But in truth, Su Jinyue agreed to marry Fu Ye only because of the time‑reversal machine and his eyes, which closely resemble those of her deceased boyfriend. She wants to go back to the past to see Jiang Yebai, her boyfriend who died in a car accident.
