"Before turning eighteen, Song Zhizhi was a cherished princess—until a car crash on her birthday took both her parents. Taken in by the Shen family, she soon discovers they are nothing but vultures, devouring her inheritance piece by piece. All that remains is a sealed overseas fortune left by her mother, meant as her dowry—but the key to the safety deposit box is cunningly swindled away by Qian Mei. To serve the Shens' interests, Song Zhizhi is handed over to the Tan family in a marriage alliance. Everyone believes she is to become Tan Huaifeng's concubine. But the truth is far more twisted: she is actually intended for Tan Huaifeng's younger brother, Tan Sizhuo—a man she has never met, and a scheme she knows nothing about."
