"Seven years ago, Xie Meilan made the ultimate sacrifice, marrying the penniless Fu Yu and supporting his dream to leave for the city and build a better life for their family. That dream was shattered when news came of Fu Yu's tragic and accidental death, leaving Meilan to raise their son alone in grief. Now, history repeats its cruelty. Their son is critically ill, and Meilan's only hope is a renowned specialist in the city. But upon arrival, she is dealt another blow: the expert has been exclusively hired by the influential Xia family for their own needs. Driven by a mother's love and desperation, Meilan ventures to the Xia estate to plead her case. There, she is met with an impossibility. The man serving as the Xia family's live-in son-in-law is the exact double of her deceased husband, Fu Yu. Is this a miraculous second chance, a cruel trick of fate, or a deliberate deception? "
