"For twenty years, Candace Shea has toiled day in and day out, supporting her family by selling handmade dumplings, enabling her husband Quincy Smith to build his career away from home, raising their daughter, and caring for her ailing mother-in-law. Just as her dumpling business is about to go public and her ancestral home is set for demolition, a double blessing, Quincy returns with his mistress, demanding a divorce and seizing family assets. Faced with humiliation and violence, Candace joins forces with her daughter, a self-made magnate, to ensure that the greedy Quincy and his accomplices face retribution. Through kindness and wisdom, Candace, her mother-in-law, and her daughter defend everything they have built and embark on a hopeful new beginning. "
