After his father Julian loses a hand—literally—to a gambling debt and takes his own life, Kane Shaw is left traumatized. His mother, Celia, now drowning in the same debt, risks everything at the card table, only to fall into the clutches of the ruthless crime boss, Roman Holt. With his family on the brink of ruin, Kane must overcome his deepest fear and embrace the one gift he inherited from his father: a genius for the con. In one high-stakes game, he will risk it all to save his mother and settle his father's score.
