Born with a rare Wood Affinity, cultivator Shen Xiaoyu is cast down to the mortal world by her master after being consumed by Heart Devil. Her soul unexpectedly takes over the body of the true heiress of the wealthy Shens, just recently brought back home. The original girl, a daughter of one of Clouden's top ten families, had lived in the countryside for twenty years after being mistakenly swapped at birth. When she finally returned, carrying nothing but worn-out farm tools into the Shen's villa, she was immediately framed by the fake heiress Shen Mengyao. On that very day, both she and her mother fell into a coma, and Shen Xiaoyu's soul took residence—setting the stage for a battle between inheritance and survival.
