Shen Fanxing was separated from her parents as a child and only reunited with the Shen family at seventeen. While the family doted on their adopted daughter Shen Nian, they schemed against their own biological daughter. When the Shen jewelry company faced crisis, Fanxing was drugged by her parents and sister and offered to the Li Group's patriarch as payment. Unexpectedly, she ended up sharing an intimate night with Li Tingye, the true power behind the Li Group and the old Mr. Li's son. Consumed by jealousy, Shen Nian swapped Fanxing to the deceased old Mr. Li's side and took her place beside Tingye. Nine months later, during childbirth, Shen Nian found Fanxing, stole her newborn daughter to secure her position as the Li family's wife, and set a fire to eliminate Fanxing. In the blaze, Fanxing miraculously gave birth to two boys and was rescued by her adoptive parents. Six years later, she returned to the country with her sons. At the airport, they accidentally encountered Tingye's daughter. Though it was the girl who clung to Fanxing, Tingye misunderstood her intentions. Forced to interact due to his daughter, his attitude gradually softened until Shen Nian revealed that Fanxing was the woman involved in his father's death and that her sons were his father's legacy. Tingye's guard went up again—was this woman plotting to seize the Li family fortune? Yet through constant trials and tensions, his heart inevitably leaned toward Fanxing, beginning his journey to win her back.
