"Wen Nuan, the heiress of the Wen family, faced tragedy when her seriously ill mother neared death. Her stepsister Wen Xueyi, jealous that their mother bequeathed everything to Nuan, seduced Nuan’s then-fiance Lu Haotian and schemed to have Nuan sleep with Luo Huaizhou, resulting in a pregnancy. Nuan mistakenly believed the father was Haotian, only discovering the truth just before giving birth. The scandal ruined her reputation and caused her mother’s fatal shock. Pushed down the stairs by Xueyi and left for dead by Haotian, Nuan was presumed deceased. Six years later, she returns with two sons and a daughter for revenge. Xueyi, having won over Huaizhou’s mother, is set to marry him—until Nuan and her children disrupt the wedding. To strip Xueyi of everything, Nuan attracts Huaizhou by treating his leg injury. Amid their growing interactions and the children’s eager matchmaking, the two develop feelings. Huaizhou eventually uncovers the truth: Nuan was the woman from six years ago, and the three children are his own."
