Seven years ago, Ira, a perfume student starved for affection, fell in love with Dante Ferrara, the heir to a mafia dynasty. To protect her from his family and their enemies, Dante deliberately told her, "It was just for fun," hoping to push her away. But Ira overheard his words. Heartbroken, she fled the estate, only to fall victim to a car crash orchestrated by her cousin Marco. Miraculously surviving, Ira became convinced that Dante had tried to kill her. She changed her name to Mia, fled overseas, and gave birth to their child. Seven years later, Mia's daughter Lily is diagnosed with a severe heart condition. Desperate, Mia kneels with Lily at the gates of the Ferrara estate, begging her ex-boyfriend Dante to save their daughter. Though Mia has undergone plastic surgery and Dante doesn't recognize her, he is stirred by certain details—her unique perfume, the way she drinks her coffee—and launches a relentless investigation. Lily's true identity is soon uncovered. As the truth behind the car crash seven years ago gradually comes to light, Dante is consumed with remorse and embarks on a painful journey to win back Mia's heart, all while fighting against traitors within his own family to protect the woman and child he loves.
