Buried in a stone coffin since 1899, Theodore Eldridge awakens in London after a century, informed he is the next heir to a powerful vampire consortium. At the same time, Cornwall’s black cliffs welcome barefoot saint Leah. In a Whitechapel tavern hides Calvin, the illegitimate son of the wolf king. Veronica, bearing phantom six wings, kneels within Vatican chambers. Four figures, labeled either light or darkness, draw closer amid London’s fog. Cloaked in gothic aesthetics, the story unfolds religious mysteries and ancient clan power struggles, questioning whether a person can break free from the identity the world forces upon them.
