Blood alchemist Nora thought that once her husband Arthur settled his final debt, they could escape the bottom of the world together. Instead, she received news that Arthur had been sadistically murdered by the vampire noblewoman Seraphina—trampled like an insect. She didn't believe it. To uncover the truth, she endured the agony of peeling her own skin and reforging her blood into the "Pureblood" constitution, infiltrating Blackwood Manor under an alias as a blood servant. Inside the manor, she navigated between Lord Julian and the spoiled, vicious Seraphina, enduring endless degradation. But what she discovered made her blood run cold: Arthur was alive. He had faked his death and was secretly colluding with Seraphina. Nora's fury burned white. She began gathering evidence of their betrayal, working in the shadows with Julian. She wielded others as her blade, using the blood servant Ada to stoke conflict and lure the traitor Arthur into the open. On the day of the Blood Moon Sacrifice, Nora unveiled every lie—and nailed Arthur and Seraphina to the tower, letting the sun reduce them to ash. With the vengeance complete, Nora cast aside the hollow title of nobility. She returned to the streets with her son, serving warm soup to the poor—and found her redemption not in revenge, but in mercy.
