Leena, a modern soul who believes in freedom and equality, is transported into a world where noble Julian demands she join his polygamous household, but she refuses and marries a loyal, monogamous scholar instead. When the dynasty crumbles, her husband dies for his country, and she is separated from her son, only to be imprisoned by Julian — now the emperor. For decades within the palace walls, they wage a war of wills: Leena secretly spreads ideas of liberty while enduring captivity, dying unbroken, leaving Julian trapped forever in his own obsessive regret. A tragic collision of a free spirit and feudal power.
